A hands-on-training program on Treasury functions was conducted for six staff members of the Ministry of Finance of Somalia at the Accountant General's department of the Ministry of Finance of Uganda in November 2011 in Kampala. The participants in the training will form the nucleus of the Treasury Department of the Ministry of Finance of Somalia, and will support the strengthening of financial integrity and the control of government resources management.
