On account of containing the spread of COVID-19 and to ensure safety of its staff members,
The Horn Economic and Social Policy Institute passed Stay-at-Home order as of Mid-March 2020.
The Institute made this decision after assessing the likelihood of getting infected by the Coronavirus
while working in the office setup and while commuting on daily basis in public transportations to and
from the office. In connection, the Institute made modest investments in ICT for the staff members to
maintain the pace of its research activities and ensure reliable means of communication between staff
and management as well as third parties.
