Policy_Brief-on-climate-changeThis policy brief is prepared based on extensive review of the recent literature on pastoralism and agro- pastoralism as well as more than 19 papers and several plenary sessions presented at the international Conference organized by the Horn Economic and Social Policy Institute (HESPI) jointly with the Institute of Pastoral and Agro-pastoral Development Studies (IPADS) of Jigjiga University on Climate Change, Pastoralism, and Resilience Bui lding in October 2019 in Jigjiga. The conference brought together key players including policymakers, academia/researchers, experts and development practitioners on pastoralism in the IGAD region.
